Sorority Chic
Alas, it's time for the semester to begin. I'm eagerly awaiting buttered bagels and cappuccinos tomorrow morning.
Ahahaha!Tonight it's time to get back into the sorority grind, which means chapter meetings, doing service and raising money for worthy causes, and wearing letters every Wednesday, because Wednesday is Letter Day at our university, evidently. I have my first chapter meeting of the semester this evening at nine, and I'm kind of looking forward to it. Kind of.
Even though I'm Greek, I've actually managed to keep a bit of individuality in check...by which I mean my sense of fashion and style. I'm not into the large jackets that most of my sisters wear, I plan to get a blue and pink jersey instead of the maroon and white the others are used to ordering, and my dream gift is to get a Vera Bradley bag with my letters on it. Like, seriously.
I know the colours mean something, but this is my jersey we're talking about, after all. It's what I have always wanted.

In other news, I've been wondering if I should ask my ex-turned-friend if he wants to hang out during the semester. Kind of stupid, I know. But he has stated that we are friends...and I expect him to go through on his word if he really wants us to be friends. You can't just be friends with someone in spoken word, you have to actually make the effort to be friends. In other words, actions speak louder than words. Always have, always will.
I've also started highlighting my Stat Methods textbook, just to get a head start on reviewing the first chapter.

Thank you.
*bows*
I'm a member of two sororities, but the sorority I mentioned here is Gamma Sigma Sigma. You might or might not have heard of it, but it's more or less dedicated to community service and has some social aspects.
two? ooooh. one for community service, and the other for partying and hanging out with frat boys? haha.
hey, i'm greek, too. you can tell me.
@TheBigShowAtUD -
Yes, two.
Yeah, one has a community service component and the other has more of a social component than the former. In the second, you could say there is partying and an abundance of frat boys.
We have a sort of brother fraternity, with whom we have mixers and participate in sports days with.
Really? Which fraternity?
yeah, mixers. fun times. i miss those.
delta tau delta. royal purple, gold, and white.
