• National Independence, and Nothing To Do

  Yes, that's right. For the first time in my life I can actually say that I have zero idea on what to do on the Fourth of July.

  LOL.

  Not that it really matters anyway. I'm not interested in a family BBQ because I've had enough of some family members for now, and don't want to be interrogated on when I'm going to find paid employment. That is what happened last time I went to see them.

  I told them I was applying for SGA Senate, and their response was, "Uh..." Well, actually, that was my half-sister's response, which pretty much hurt because I was expecting her to say, "That's great! Which seat are you going out for?" (Which the people I work with in the TPL actually said, which I actually appreciate.)

  But no, it was as if she did not give a flying fuck. Well, whatevs. Who cares what she thinks, anyway?

  Next Saturday, I go on vacation, which I am totally relieved about. It's time to get away from stupid ex-boyfriends and other ridiculous things that are going on in my life right now, even if it just two weeks.

  I got my grades for the summer term back, and I did quite well, if I do say so myself. I got an A in Motivation (big surprise, really...I was expecting a B or C), and a C in Cognitive, which is pretty good, considering that all the exams in that course had written components. On the last exam, I was thisclose to getting a B. C'est la vie.
